Founded in 1998, Sahajanand Gir Gaushala is a family-owned and operated foundation dedicated to the care, preservation, and service of Gir cows. What began as a small initiative with just 4-5 Gir cows for our family’s well-being soon grew into a profound realization of the importance of Gau Seva (cow service) and Gir cow conservation. Driven by our passion for protecting this sacred breed and sharing its benefits with others, we expanded our efforts and began responsible breeding. Today, our Gaushala is home to 380 healthy and well-cared-for Gir cows, thriving in a nurturing environment. Each time a new calf is born, it is a moment of joy and celebration, reinforcing our commitment to ethical dairy farming and sustainable practices. At Sahajanand Gir Gaushala, we strive to preserve tradition, promote purity, and extend the goodness of Gir cows to as many people as possible.
Our Vision
To preserve, protect, and promote the Gir cow breed, and to inspire a future rooted in pure, natural, traditional, and ethical dairy practices.
